Oh baby baby it's a wild world

Every time I start to say,  "the strangest coincidences happen",  I correct myself, because I don't actually believe in coincidences.  Call it God, call it the universe, call it mother nature, whatever ... I do believe most things happen for a reason, and in the right season. It's been a slow income week for me, but not a slow week by any means. I've spent a lot of time taking care of family obligations. I've been spending time on my website and structuring my business.  But the slow weeks are the ones in which you have to stay the most motivated, so I happily accepted an offer to have a brainstorming session with one of my dearest friends yesterday.  Like I, she has a vision for the souls she encounters in her village and has an amazing vision for a business that helps break cycles of dysfunction.  We specialize in different areas, but our vision is one and the same in many ways.  We spent hours talking, and not enough hours planning, but the chatte...

At the end of his 6th grade year in school,  my son, signed up for Athletics instead of PE for 7th grade and decided he wanted to try out for football. This came as quite a shock to me because, ummmmm, no.  No, he couldn't play football. Why? Why?  He didn't even watch football! You see,  I'm a football fan.  More importantly, a Cowboys fan (don't even go there ... no trash talking my boys), but for most of my son's life,  he has not watched football with me.  None of my boys,  nor my ex-husband were really football fans, so the daughter and I watched the games together. He didn't grow up throwing around a football with his dad and brothers and none of them ever played football.
